Store Cashier / Admin Assistant

If you are enthusiastic, friendly, self-motivated and love working with people, we are looking for you to join our team! The marina store is looking for a part time Store Cashier / Administrative Assistant – about 30 hours per week.

Requirements

Must be at least 19 years old
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
Accounting experience is preferred
Neat image and appearance
Must be able to work weekends
Customer Service Experience
Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Responsibilities

Perform register duties and handle cash
Prepare weekly deposit
Assist marina members with general marina questions
Responsible for assigning gate cards to marina members
Perform stock work such as fronting and facing merchandise, cleaning shelves, pricing of merchandise
Assist in physical store inventories
Complete required paperwork
Perform clerical duties
Maintain a neat and clean appearance of store and workstation area

Night Security

Now accepting applications for night security staff. Typical shifts are 6pm – 6am.

Requirements

Must have 1-2 years experience as a security guard with a private company, federal,United Statesmilitary, state, county or municipal law enforcement agency.
Must be able to operate boats and have general boating knowledge
Must be available to work various shifts when needed, including weekends and holidays.
Excellent customer service skills, communication skills, and a happy, smiling attitude are essential.

Responsibilities

Observe and report all actions that take place at the marina during the night shift. In the event of an incident, contact proper person immediately.
Walk all docks and make notes of any boats that are not tied up properly. Keep watch for any suspicious activities on or around docks and boats.
Continually monitor all gates, storage shed doors, overhead doors, and park fuel shed making sure they are secure. All access gates to the docks are to be locked at dark and checked continuously.
Restroom facilities on the marina are accessible 24 hours per day. They are to be kept clean of all trash. All towel dispensers must be filled as needed. Trash receptacles are to be emptied and replaced with clean bags as needed.
